Al-Bahrani et al. (2018) propose to illustrate economic concepts in the classroom by drawing parallels with a very popular App.: Pokémon GO. 

Inelastic Demand, Public Goods, Positive and Negative Externalities, Diminishing Marginal Utility and Price Discrimination are among the concepts that can be explained with a clear parallel to Pokémon GO. 

The article provides all the necessary information to make these illustrations in class as well as a glossary that can help unfamiliar instructors with the Pokémon terminology.
